The National Revenue Agency announced on its website that the application of the VAT scheme for small enterprises in other EU Member States by taxable persons established in Bulgaria has been postponed. This delay will last until amendments aligning the VAT Act with the Amending Directive to the VAT Directive (2020/285) are adopted. Bulgarian enterprises will be able to utilize the scheme once the necessary legislative changes are implemented.
